Open Question: I have 3208 sq. ft. how many cubic yards is that?

First, convert square feet into SQUARE yards (not cubic yards)
1 yd = 3 ft
1 yd * 1 yd = 3 ft * 3 ft
1 sq yd = 9 sq ft

1 sq ft = 1/9 sq yd
3208 sq ft = 3208/9 sq yds = 356.444444444 sq yds

Now if you want to find volume of house given that ceilings are 8 ft tall, then convert 8 ft to yds, and multiply by sq yds

V = 8/3 yd * 356.444444444 sq yds
V = 950.518518519 cubic yds
