many of the planets that have been discovered orbiting other stars are "hot Jupiters", or planets the size of Jupiter but that orbit very close to their stars. Our nebular theory of the formation of the Solar System says that planets like Jupier can't form near their star, so how did these "hot Jupiters" come to be as we see them? Why are there no "hot Jupiters" in our own Solar System?

I know that our Jovian planets form in the outer of our solar system and away from the sun, but I don't understand why extraplanet like these form near closer to their star?

i have a HDD with a lot of usefull and valuable data in it, but i wanna use it as a master hdd in a new pc computer i am building. it has ntfs partitions and have 25gb free space. so i think i can use that free space to intall the new OS (windows 7 basic 32bits). i must tell this hdd is actually used only for storage, it is not a master unit.

now my question is if i can install the OS in that space inside this hdd, without erase or damage my data. ?

there will be some problem with this procedure?

how could i get access my data after the OS installation?

1) Bile is produced by hepatocytes, draining through the many bile ducts that penetrate the liver. Bile then flows into the common hepatic duct, which joins with the cystic duct from the gallbladder to form the common bile duct. The common bile duct in turn joins with the pancreatic duct to empty into the duodenum. If the sphincter of Oddi is closed, bile is prevented from draining into the intestine and instead flows into the gallbladder, where it is stored and concentrated to up to five times its original potency between meals.

2) Pancreatic juice secretion is regulated by the hormones secretin and cholecystokinin, which is produced by the walls of the duodenum upon detection of acid food, proteins and fats. Pancreatic secretion consists of an aqueous bicarbonate component from the duct cells and enzymatic component from the acinar cells.
