My question pertains to the idea of scavenging other planets for resources and bring them to this planet on a large scale. Would the shift of weight of such a great magnitude change the orbit of either planet or their rotations?Answer Question

Open Question: An engineer weighs a sample of mercury (p=13.6 * 10^3 kg/m3) and finds the weight is 6.2 N. What is the Vol?
Open Question: how to find the weight of something using hyd. pressure reading?

Open Question: how to find the weight of something using hyd. pressure reading?

Pressure = Force / Area

In this case, the force = weight

Pressure = weight / Area

Area is the area of the cylinder = pi*d^2/4

Weight = Pressure * Area = Pressure * pi*d^2/4

Open Question: physics- Disk with weight?

Open Question: physics- Disk with weight?

A 15 kg uniform disk of radius R = 0.25 m has a string wrapped around it, and a m = 3.6 kg weight is hanging on the string. The system of the weight and disk is released from rest.
a) When the 3.6 kg weight is moving with a speed of 1.2 m/s, what is the kinetic energy of the entire system?
bIf the system started from rest, how far has the weight fallen?
c What is the angular acceleration at this point?

for a I got 7.94J and for b I got 0.225m, I just can't seem to get the answer for c. please help!
