So, I was lying in my bed this morning and in the dead silence, I could hear soft whispers in my room coming from closet. It started at about 2:30 in the morning, but maybe ten minutes into it, I was about to inhale when it felt like I swallowed something rather large and cold. I started choking and eventually regained myself. I woke my girlfriend up and she asked if I was okay to which I replied I was fine.

Now, I'm usually the first to scoff and laugh at people who claim to have seen ghosts or possess psychic abilities because I don't believe in either. However, that isn't to say I'm not open to the possibilities, I just like to have solid proof.

Now, I would really like to dismiss this as just an audio hallucination or something of the sort, but the experience was just way too.....real. To anyone who believes in this sort of stuff, do you have any idea what might have happened?
