-6/(-1/2) = -6 * (2/-1) = -6 * (-2/1) = -6 * -2 = 12

1/(1/3) = 1 * (3/1) = 1 * 3 = 3

I'm not sure where the answers given come from. Are you sure you posted whole problem, exactly as it is stated, word for word? Perhaps you missed something.
