I have lived in two places my whole life, one of which is my college dorm. The other is my house in Houston. That house has a lot of things happen to it that are associated with the paranormal. Some of them have explanations, some don't. I don't know how many times I would hear our kitchen sink turn on downstairs at night (my room is directly above the kitchen, our alarm system has motion detector [don't know how many times that's gone off for no reason], and if anyone went downstairs I would hear the alarm disabled.) or would hear someone walking up or down the stairs when no one was. Several times a door would open or shut or a light would turn on or off.
Then my grandparents house, not as much happens anymore, but we remember seeing apparitions there, both my cousin and I have been in our bedroom there, someone knocks, we open but no one is standing there, then we hear footsteps run down the hall and shut the bathroom door. Like my house, there are quiet a few areas that feel, off, if you know what I mean.
My church built a new building on new property when I was in sixth grade. Ever since, its become known to think that it is haunted as well. It also has "off" areas, lights turn on and off, footsteps, doors opening and closing.
I know that for me, these kind of things no longer freak me out or scare me. I even do a little paranormal investigation and hoping to it more once I graduate from college. My sister, who lives with her husband in their own house thinks that normality is strange.Answer QuestionALL paranormal investigators have reasons for what brought them into the business. I too, was in college when I started and really got into it on the side when I graduated. Best of luck to YOU.Marble City Ghost Hunters
