Open Question: Question about Lansoprazole side effects..?

Jordan Member since:December 22, 2009Total points:3 (Level 1)I just took my first dose of Lansoprazole this morning for my gastro reflux disease (this is my first time taking a medication for it) and I was wondering about possible side effects?
I'm, unfortunately, a very paranoid person and I was looking up information about it and I happened to notice a lot of the side effects... so now I'm really worried about some of them. I'm just curious.. should I be worried about these side effects? I know it's rare that I might get them, but I just get so nervous about these things I'm not sure. Are the side effects common?
And also, can I take ibuprofen while on lansoprazole? I have really bad menstrual cramps right now and Ibuprofen seems to be the only thing that works for me.
