Open Question: Chemistry Help Life Preserver?

I need help on Chemistry problem;

You are applying for a position at the Acme Life Preserver Company. You are asked to calculate the minimum weight of sodium bicarbonate required to inflate a life preserver to 800 torr when mixed with an excess of 1.0 M HCl.

The chemical equation is: NaHCO3 + HCl-->CO2 + H2O + NaCl

Your life preserver model will be a gallon sized Ziploc bag. With 1.0 M HCl in excess, you want to use the minimum quantity of NaHCO3 to that the CO2 that forms exerts just enough pressure to inflate the bag firmly, but not enough to rupture the seal. Assume the gas inside the inflated bag will be at a pressure of 800 torr and that the seawater will be at room temperature (23 C).

Problem (perform calculations below and show all work)
a. Calculate the amount (in mL) of 1.0 M HCl needed, and add 20% more to the calculated amount so that it will be in excess.
b. Calculate the amount (in grams) of NaHCO3 required.
