Open Question: Chemstry - Redox reaction lab help?

Member since:March 25, 2008Total points:120 (Level 1)In my chemistry lab, I have to find the mass of an unknown K2C2O4 sample, the mass percent in the sample, and the average mass percent. And then the average absolute deviation. I'm not sure how I am supposed to do this. I titrated it with KMnO4 and I found that it is .101M. I had 0.995g (of unknown K2C2O4) and used 6.50 ml (KMnO4) for trial one, and had 0.996g (of unknown K2C2O4) and used 5.68 ml (KMnO4). The redox reaction that I was given is 5C2O4 2- + 2MnO4 + 15 H+ -----> 2Mn2+ + 10CO2 + 8H2O. Any help would be amazing. Thanks.Answer QuestionBe the first to answer this question.
