Do insects have emotions or feelings? Like do the have fear when they see you with a shoe about the squish them? Or the ones who live with a colony, do the other "miss" the one that is gone.

Basically, I have the biggest fear of pretty much all insects. I just killed a spider in my house and I felt kind of bad... should I?

And yes I know that spiders are important to keep other bugs away and blah blah blah and bees polonate flowers and they are important... I try to kill bugs as little as possible and just put them outside.
