Open Question: Is it possible to know whether a person brings dominant/recessive from their nature?

It's like the father is the older version of his son, and vice versa. It makes me thinking about Genetics. His father must have brought dominant gene towards his son, and it makes me wnder: can we tell whether a person has dominant\recessive gene by their characteristic (how they behave)? Maybe like, "Strict or harsh people is more likely to descend their stric\harsh nature to their children.", can we really say that?
