My lecturer's really funny and he's given us one of those tasks to do whatever we like but it has to be creative so he told us about a protest site in the uk stopping an opencast coal mine expanding, where people build towers out of crosstied logs taller than the treeline to stop climbers from being able to reach them and get them down. So i can improve on a design that the protesters have already come up with, anything to make life good on camp, what i remember from the examples:

Crostied truss log towers taller than the tree line so climbers can't reach them with ropes between trees.
Tree houses in all shapes and sizes some with 3 stories for living in with a fight platform stretching as wide and long as the tree, the floor half held up by being suspended on branches above.
Tripods and monopoles lashed above the tree with bender tents atop.
Tunnels like a laberynth and knocked together wind turbines.

Or even better come up with something totally new and intuitive that peacefully stops all fossil feuls and makes my hippie teacher enormously happy.
