Open Question: What do you call this - nth roots?
(small 4 written raised next to the radical sign) then under the radical you have: 4a - 7b
this whole thing is multiplied by
(small 2 written raised next to the radical sign) then under the radical you have: 2a^2 - 6b
What do you call this? In my school notes it says "operations with radical expressions" or something along those lines. But, my teacher is awful (literally) when it comes to explaining things, and so I usually use YouTube videos to actually teach myself how to do these things. But, when I search "operations with radical expressions" it's a completely different type of problem being shown ... I do mean that the "small 4" is actually small .. I believe my teacher mentioned something about nth roots with this. But a search on that is useless as well.
What do you REALLY call this? I hope you understand what I explained .. it's kinda hard to explain without writing out a real problem.
Also, could you please direct me to YouTube videos on how to do this stuff? I mean multiplying these things together, adding them together, simplyfying, etc. Or even just a written out webpage .. anything is fine. Thank you.
