Open Question: (Easy 10 points) Convert complex numbers to polar form? (5-5isqr3)?

16:10 Publicado por Anónimo

5-5v3i is in the form of x+iy, where x = 5 and y = -5v3

To convert to polar form of ( r , theta)
r = v(x^2+y^2)
tan theta = y/x

So r = v(25+25/3) = v100/3 = 10/v3
tan theta = -v3
So theta = -TT/3 = 2TT - TT/3 = 5TT/3

So polar form is (10/v3 , 5TT/3)
