Mona Aliari Member since:May 22, 2011Total points:56 (Level 1)I have calculated the bonding order of O2 (with +1 charge) which is equal to 5/2, the bond order of O2 which is equal to 2, & the bond order of O2 (with -1 charge) which is equal to 3/2. Which one is strongest bond? The answer is O2 (with +1 charge), but why? Is it because it has the largest bonding order among the other two elements? PLEASE EXPLAIN IN CLEAR SIMPLE WORDS.Answer QuestionBe the first to answer this question.
