Open Question: Piecewise graph, use the graph to determine the limits?

4:57 Publicado por Anónimo

Draw the graph of

f(x) = { x^(2) + 1, x > = 0

{ 2x - 3, x < 0

and use the graph to determine

(A) lim x approaches 0 from left [ f(x) ]

(B) lim x approaches 0 from right [ f(x) ]

(C) lim x approaches 0 [ f(x) ]

I had this on my test and got in wrong. My answers are

(A) - 3

(B) 1

(C) does not exist

======================================…

The correct answers are supposedly

(A) 1

(B) - 3

(C) does not exist

Can you please explain why I got supposedly part (A) and part (B) wrong? Thanks I appreciate it. Will rate high for good response.
