I have a curve sketching assignment and this one question i am having trouble with (this is x2= x squared and 3x2 is 3 x squared.)
y= 8

x2+x-2

i need to find the
-x & y intercepts
-horizontal asymptote
-vertical asymptote
-intervals of increasing and decreasing - local maximum and minimum ( i mainly need help here)

and if anyone knows the x- intercept of this for curve sketching
x3+3x2-x-5 ( polynomial)
