Open Question: How are eddy currents created in transformers?

18:47 Publicado por Nadim

This is for a level physics. Please could someone give me a short, succinct answer similar to what might be expected for 4 marks. I don't want an indepth essay.

Thanks

Leik I understand this but I want a short 4 mark answer. Is something such as this correct...

"A changing magnetic flux in the primary core induces a current in the iron core. This induced current acts to oppose the original according to Lenz law and causes energy to be wasted as heat." I just don't feel that this is 4 distinct statements (marks). Could someone help?
