Open Question: how to find area and circumference of part of a circle ?

The area of the whole circle is pi * r^2, and the circumference is 2 * pi * r.

If you are looking for part of a circle in degrees, there are 360 degrees in the whole thing; to find the area of one x degree slice, take the whole area and multiply by x/360.
