Open Question: Statistics/Probability question?

23:07 Publicado por Nadim

I am having trouble knowing if I add or multiply with this problem:

Age 19 and under
male:4746
female: 4517

Age 20
male:1625
female:1553

Age 21
male:1679
female:1627

Choose one driver at random. Find the probability that the driver is Male and 19 or under.

Now, do I find the product of the number of males and the number of drivers 19 or under? Or do I add and subtract:
(the number of males) + (number of 19 or under) - (number of males that are 19 or under)
