Proof: 0.7 = 7/10 as a fraction which equals 21/30 ( this is the lowest number that both 10 and 3 are factors of ) . 2/3 = 20/30. 21>20, therefore 0.7 is larger than 2/3. It might be worth noting that 2/3 is 0.66667 (accurate to 5 decimal places), but this actually goes on forever, being 0.666666666.....etc which is still smaller than 0.7
