Open Question: why is the sun yellow?
The Sun isn't yellow; it's white.
The people who say the Sun is yellow have never looked at the Sun through a telescope! The Sun is white, as seen when high in the sky with a neutral solar filter. The reason people _think_ the Sun is yellow is that they have only seen it when it is low in the sky, shining through a large amount of the Earth's atmosphere and pollution. And don't let its classification as a "yellow dwarf" fool you: it's white.
Also, the Sun should always be written with a capital "S" as it is a proper noun, a place. Otherwise, it's just any old sun, not our Sun. Same for the Moon.
