Open Question: How to find current and power in resister that's connected parallel and in series?

A 60.0-O resistor is connected in parallel with a 121.0-O resistor. This parallel group is connected in series with a 21.0-O resistor. The total combination is connected across a 15.0-V battery.

(a) Find the current in the 121.0-O resistor.
(b) Find the power dissipated in the 121.0-O resistor.

The whole system is then connected to a 120-V source. Determine (a) the current in the 25 ohms, (b) the potential drop across the parallel group, (c) the potential drop across the 25 ohms, (d) the current in the 60 ohms, (e) the current in the 40 ohms.Answer Question

Open Question: what is the current? try to answer this question if you can?

Electric current is a flow of electric charge through a medium. This charge is typically carried by moving electrons in a conductor such as wire. (It can also be carried by ions in an electrolyte).

The SI unit for measuring the rate of flow of electric charge is the ampere, which is charge flowing through some surface at the rate of one coulomb per second. Electric current is measured using an ammeter
Mathematically it can be written as
Q = i * t ; where Q = charge in Coulomb, i = current in amp., and t = time in sec
so in your question Q = 10, 800 C, t = 1 hour = 60x60 = 3,600 sec
so 10,800 = i * 3,600 ; or
i = 10,800 / 3,600 = 3 amp. ---------- Answer

Hope this helped.

Open Question: What is Static electricity and Current electricity ?

They aren't really any different. Just different aspects of the same subject that we study.

"static electricity" or electrostatics is studying charge situations whereby all systems are in ELECTROSTATIC EQUILIBRIUM. That is, they aren't really actively doing any re-distribution.

"Current electricity" is what you shouldn't call it. You should just call it circuits. That is when we focus a study on an application of when electrostatic equilibrium ISN'T the case, and the results are interesting to us.
