that is the original problem. here is how I solved it. I reduced the x values, taking the x out of the numerator and leaving one x in the denomenator. Then I factored the y values. Taking away the y in the denomenator and leaving y^2 in the numerator. then I mutiplied what I had gotten from factoring, which was (1y/2)(4y^2/1x). That gave me (4y^3/2x) which I reduced to (2y^3/x). Does that sound right?

Additionally if I started with that same $1,000 and made the same 1 percent daily compounded interest how much would that $1,000 be worth at the end of 80 weeks?
One week in this equation is equal to 5 days which means 5.0% interest per week instead 7.0% which makes this equation so hard for me to figure out.

Jesse Blakeney Member since:September 04, 2010Total points:98 (Level 1)On my chemistry test I had to determine if AsBr3 was polar.I used the formula to discover that the bond had an overall electronegativity of 0.83, making the bond polar.
My teacher taught me that just because the bond is polar, does not mean the molecule is polar.
So I drew in the vector arrows, being told that if they all pointed to As, it would be polar because they're all going to one place, and if the 3 arrows went to the 3 Br's, it would be non-polar because they are all going in different directions.
Since Br had a higher electronegativity, the negative end of all the arrows ended up on the 3 Br's, making the molecule non-polar. But it is marked wrong.
Can somebody please varify, I feel as though my teacher is contradicting what she taught me.Answer QuestionBe the first to answer this question.

The (trunk?) is notched, has pink flowers, and the leaves look like they have leaves growing on the edges. Anyone know what it is?
