Open Question: Statistics/Hypothesis Test Problem?

Paint used to paint lines on roads must reflect enough light to be clearly visible at night. Let µ denote the true average reflectometer reading for a new type of paint under consideration. A test of H0: µ = 20 versus Ha: µ > 20 based on a sample of 11 observations gave t = 3.2. What conclusion is appropriate at each of the following significance levels?

(c) a = .001

Explanation is greatly appreciated

Open Question: Poltergeist Problem.?

Home >All Categories > Science & Mathematics >Alternative >Paranormal Phenomena >Open QuestionOctavio Octavio Member since:December 24, 2007Total points:206 (Level 1)I'm going to be fairly straightforward: I need to rid of this poltergeist. I'ts haunted me since I was 5. It first started by making "lazy" noises such as rapping, footsteps. Then last December the couch was creaking, it tried to choke me, it moved my legs etc. The day before yesterday a few minutes after I went to sleep it made an extremely loud noise, it sounded like it dropped my boombox. Yesterday night after I came back from church I immediately heard it squeezing my water bottle which I had in my backpack, I had a notebook in my buro andI tought to myself that it would try to do something to my notebook so I put it in my backpack. I was watching King Of The Hill and the cable kept unplugging from the T.V twice and once this morning. Also when I was watching American Dad after King of The Hill I heard my notebook pages flipping loudly hence it was in my backpack. I had to sleep outside since I tought it might pocess me. It's seriously draining my life and I need help with ridding it.Answer Question

Answer Question

The Internet is not something that you just dump something on. It's not a big truck. It's a series of tubes. And if you don't understand, those tubes can be filled and if they are filled, when you put your message in, it gets in line and it's going to be delayed by anyone that puts into that tube enormous amounts of material, enormous amounts of material.

Open Question: Help with genetics probability problem?

Home >All Categories > Science & Mathematics >Mathematics >Open QuestionMusicalrain Musicalr... Member since:July 12, 2008Total points:2,753 (Level 4)Parents with the genotypes AaBbCc and AaBbCc are crossed, what is the probability that the offspring will have the genotype AaBbCc? I got 1/27 (3.7%) when I made a punnett square, but my prof wants us to calculate this like she did in class. I wasn't there for the class; what I can tell from the powerpoint is that she did this:
AaxAa=1/2 Aa
BbxBb=1/2 Bb
CcxCc=1/2 Cc
I'm not sure if she then calculated the probability like this:
(1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2)= 12.5%
Which method is correct? How would you calculate the probability by using fractions? I need to show my work, and there's no way that I can have a 27 square punnett square for each problem. Thanks!!Answer Question
