I know, it's elementary algebra and it's bad I can't even solve 'em, I just don't remember how too!
It's not for homework, it's for a placement test. So any help will do. Thank you!

Open Question: Will i overdose on all these pills?
So please don't take any answer here as definitive, as you should really be asking a health professional. In my opinion though, unless you are going to different doctors and chemists and they don't know what you are taking, then you should be fine if they are doing their job correctly. Also, if the drugs have different active ingredients, you will still be within the therapeutic window for each drug, and overdosing will not be a problem.

Open Question: Determine if these reactions are spontaneous or nonspontaneous.?
(a) reaction A: ?H = 12.1 kJ/mol, ?S = 29 J/K·mol
Is this spontaneous or nonspontaneous? Also, for the reaction what is ?G and T?
(b) reaction B: ?H = 2.0 kJ/mol, ?S = -110. J/K·mol
Is this spontaneous or nonspontaneous? Also, for the reaction what is ?G and T?
Please help and if you can, show me how you did the work. Thanks.

Open Question: Astronomy/density question: how much higher is the matter density in these CMB hot spots today?
- CMB hot spots have matter density that is about 10^-5 higher than the background average.
Let us consider the evolution of such a hot spot with the opposite assumption as above.
Assume the matter density in the hot spot is sufficient to resist the cosmological expansion and therefore remains constant, while the rest of the universe expands as
a = t^2/3
Compared to today's mean matter density in the universe (30% of the critical density),
how much higher is the matter density in these hot spots today?
it has something to with the density of background = t^-2, and i'm supposed to calculate the ratio based on the times

Open Question: Can someone please help me with these solubility problems?
2.The cations Ba 2+ and Sr 2+ can be precipitated as very insoluble sulfates.BaSO4 (Ksp = 1.1x 10-10) SrSO4 (Ksp 3.4 x 10-7)
a) If you add sodium sulfate to a solution containing these metal cations, each with a concentration of 0.10 M, which is precipitated first, BaSO4, or SrSO4?
b) What will be the concentration for the first ion that precipitates when the second, more soluble salt begins to precipitate?

Open Question: Can someone help me with factor these 3 math problems :/?
there is a common factor of 7x
7x(2x^2 - 3)
8x^2 - 4x = 4x(2x - 1)
36w^3 - 9w) = 9w(4w^2 - 1) = 9w(2w + 1)(2w - 1)
Check by multiplying.
Read your textbook. Practice. See your teacher---these were very easy !

Open Question: What kind of bees are these?
Home >All Categories > Science & Mathematics >Zoology >Open Question Afflicti... Member since:January 04, 2010Total points:1,001 (Level 3)Okay so I live un georgia and I moved here about 2 weeks ago and ive seen these dominatly brown colorded bees with a white strip running horrizontaly in the middle of its body. It looks to be about 1-2 inches long and seems very mean. I never saw them in alabama, only here. Anyways can you tell me what kind of bee/wasp/hornet this is? Oh and by the way it seems to fly and socialize by itself. Never seen them interacting with another bee.

Open Question: An action potential is caused by an influx of these ions into the cell:?
Probably the closest thing to magic we'll ever see.
Open Question: How would you solve these using the substitution method? thanks?
x = 23 - 3y
plug this into the second equation to get...
3 (23 - 3y) - 2y = 3
69 - 9y - 2y = 3
11 y = 66
y = 6
plug this into either equation to find x.
x + 3(6) = 23
x = 5
2) what you are going to substitute will be very easy as the first equation is very straight forward. multiply each side of the first equation to get y = 5x (for easier calculations), then plug it into the second equation to get...
3x + 2(5x) = 26
13 x = 26
x = 2
plug in this value in either equation to find y
2 = y/5
y = 10
