Open Question: x2+6x+c solve by completing the square?

x^2 + 6x + c
= x^2 + 6x + 9 - 9 + c
= (x + 3)^2 + (c - 9)
= x^2 + 6x + 9 - 9 + c
= (x + 3)^2 + (c - 9)
What do you mean "solve"? Do you want the roots?
(x + 3)^2 + (c - 9) = 0
(x + 3)^2 = 9 - c
x + 3 = +/- sqrt(9 - c)
x = -3 +/- sqrt(9 - c)
