Let z = the number of zebras and n = number of neons
then, for 9, z + n = 13 ==> n = 13 - z
also, 2.1z + 1.85n = 25.8 ==> 2.1z +1.85(13 - z) = 25.8
==> z(2.1 - 1.85) = 25.8 - 24.05 ==> 0.25z = 1.75 ==> z/4 = 7/4
==> z = 7 and n = 6
Similarly for the other
