1. A dilute aqueous solution of an organic compound soluble in water is formed by dissolving 2.34 g of the compound in water to form 0.250 L solution. The resulting solution has an osmotic pressure of 0.699 atm at 25°C. Assuming that the organic compound is a nonelectrolyte, what is its molar mass?
2. By referring to the figure below, determine the mass of each of the following salts required to form a saturated solution in 1.90 102 g water at 30°C. Link to picture: https://picasaweb.google.com/113416551002272999782/Apr62011#
