Our bodies simply change form, from a useful collection of water and hydrocarbons to a mess of hydrocarbons that is used for food for various plants and underground insects. Even the bones dissolve -- eventually.

of course, you haven;t touched on the parts of us that are NOT made of hydrocarbons -- like our personality, and out thoughts. These continue to exist in the realm of God.
