8:47 Publicado por Anónimo

The question is as follows,
The project engineer for new business development has prepared and designed seven new projects for a company as follows:
Projects___NPV____INVESTMENT REQUIRED($) (YR1, YR2)
A________12_____________5__________5
B________10_____________4__________4
C________8_____________4__________2
D_________6_____________2__________2
E_________6_____________2___________3
F_________8_____________3___________2
G________0_____________1_____________1

Capital funds available for Yr1 and Yr2 = $15 EACH

Projects C and E are dependent and must be implemented simultaneously. Projects A,B and D are mutually exclusive. When project F is undertaken, Project G must also be undertaken. The aim is to maximize NPV, formulate the problem as an LP model
