Open Question: is 4 a prime number or not?

No. A prime number can only be divided by 1 and itself. So it has no other factors.

4 can be divided by 2, so it is therefore NOT a prime number.

Some prime numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 27...
