Open Question: Is the one who reaches IIT intelligent rest are fools?

Member since:June 17, 2007Total points:147 (Level 1)I have heard from many people that IIT is the topmost college in the world.I don't agree it is the topmost but I agree it is one of the good institutions of the world.But I feel irriatated when people say that only that progress in life who is IITIAN.Becoz In today's world If you want to make a career in science.Then If you are not in IIT then your future is dark come what you have calibar are potential.But in comparison of IIT you are zero.Isn't its a discrimination.I mean If I can't able to clear the IIT Exam that doesn't mean I have no strong knowledge of my concepts.and one more question how many scientist does an IIT has given to the world.The name of whom I know ISSAC NEWTON,ALBERT EINSTIEN,Venkat Ramakrishann,Sunit Williams,Kalpna Chawla are they are IIT'ans but they achieve that height which an IIT'an even can't imagine.IIT is the simply institute who provides skilled labours of enginers.that's it.It does not provide any new creative researchers.They simply teach to mug up the books pass the examination. get the highest grade.All the scientist of India & even world.are doctrates holder(P.hd).Who gives the world new inventions and new inovative ideas.They are not IITANS.Even some of them like EDISION(who has done 1000 inventions),ISSAC NEWTON are very dumb student at their school age.Even they are failed in some of their premelinarey classes.But today they are the legends of Science.There theories & formulas are read & taught by numerous of IITANS.It because of them they get Highly paid jobs.I don't want to disgrace IIT.I respect IIT from core of my heart.But I have problem with our society mindset who says that to become a scientist you must be an IIT.It is just like become benchmark & way to measure anyone potential in todays world.If he is from IIT yes he is scientist.If he is not from IIT don't consider it he is dumb fellowAnswer QuestionWhat, the hell, are you on about?
