Open Question: Where could baby Robins disappear to?

Every day, we checked on the nest to watch the chicks' progress. Yesterday there were still 3 chicks, but today I found only one! I checked the ground and our neighbors' yard to see if the other chicks were there or if there were any remains from a predator eating them, but there was nothing. How could 2 chicks, who were clearly not fledglings yet, disappear without a trace? My whole family is stumped.Answer QuestionBe the first to answer this question.
