Open Question: why are hot stars blue and not red?

have a look at the blackbody radiation curve
higher temperature emits shorter wavelength light (higher frequency) , similar to E = hf
Planck's law for radiation intensity as a function of frequency of emitted radiation:

this is not any different on earth, these laws are universal.
